Version/Name Madness!!!
We have "Altiris" Notification Server 6.0.6074.
We also have "Altiris" Deployment Solution 6.9 (build 365) SP1
We had "Altiris" Software Virtualization Solution 2.1 SP2_Build_2.1.3071 installed and integrated with NS and DS
Deployment Solution had a job to install the 2.1 client as did Notification Server.
We recently upgraded to "Symantec" Workspace Virtualization 6.1 Integrated version '6.1.4063' and stand-alone version.
NB: The release notes say "Symantec Workspace Virtualization was previously released as Altiris® Software Virtualization Solution™"
ISSUES...
1. Since the upgrade I can't deploy .VSA packages to the clients as we get the following error "SVS agent not installed"
2. In the NS 6.5 Console > Configuration > Windows > Software Virtualization Agent Rollout, the configuration "All Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista Workstations without Software Virtualization Agent installed" is still looking for "and r.Guid not in (select _ResourceGuid from Inv_AeX_AC_Client_Agent where [Agent Name]='Software Virtualization Agent')"
Shouldn't we be looking for "Symantec Workspace Virtualization???
Any help on this confusing naming would be very helpful.
To be honest; until Symantec can get a handle on this kind of stuff we've stopped all SWV/SVS (whatever you call it) deployments!
You need a new solution for
You need a new solution for 6.1 to work, the 2.1 solution will not work with 6.1.
The 6.1 solution will be released when 6.1 is released (4063 was not an official release).

So 6.1 is still not released!?
is there any realistic date for it's release? It seems like we've been promised this forever! What's going on!?
I have no clue when it's

workaround
Unfortunately the problem you are experiencing will not be resolved by the release of the new solution. With the migration to NS 7, The Software Virtualization Solution is in a hold state, meaning that it is no longer being actively worked on. The updated solution that was released with the official 6.1 MP1 release—6.1.4108 as of 20July09--was updated to include the new Symantec Workspace Virtualization agent—the solution itself was not changed.
What this basically means--as you have found out--is that since the name of the agent was changed from “Software Virtualization Agent” to “Symantec Workspace Virtualization Agent” that the existing collections and reports will no longer work properly. Pending a decision to update the Solution itself there are two options that you can pursue.
Option one.
On the NS you can modify the SQL that you referenced in your above post and change the name “Software Virtualization Agent” to “Software Workspace Virtualization Agent” This will need to be done for each of the three Solution collections:
"All Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista Workstations without Software Virtualization Agent installed"
“Computers Requiring Software Virtualization Agent Upgrade”
“Computers With Software Virtualization Agent Installed”
Option two.
You need to rename the "Agent Name" value for the SWV 6.1 client in the registry, to do that go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Plugin Objects\Agents\Software Virtualization Agent
From: Agent Name = “Symantec Workspace Virtualization Agent”
To: Agent Name= “Software Virtualization Agent”
Once the RegKey has been modified, send a basic inventory to the NS and the agent name will update automatically.
This step will need to be done on each client machine. It can easily be automated via a DS job.
