I'm sharing this because it stumped me for a while and thought it might help someone else out.

I applied policies to a folder using EVPM. The only option I had to check if it was applied was the hidden message. I kept opening and refreshing the hidden message and saw no reference to the script policies.

I finally selected the Folder that I applied policies to, in this case, Calendars, and opened the hidden message. Then I was able to see the policy set against that folder.
