Symantec Developer Group

I'm currently using VIP version 1.0.3, and it no longer works once I upgrade to macOS Sierra 10.12.  Will there be a new version release to support this OS?

When I attempt to launch the app, I get: You can’t use this version of the application “VIP Access.app” with this version of macOS.

This is a pretty big miss on Symantec's part. Can we get at least an acknowledgement that something is being worked on to fix this? I have the feeling that it is as simple as Symantec looking for the string "OS X" and getting "macOS" back that is stopping the app from working. Should be a simple fix unless they are doing something much more complex.

Apparently Symantec has put out a fix for this, but for some reason didn't post it here to their own forums. You can find the link at this Apple.com site. Look at the Helpful link, not the "Answer" which is just an appology.
