virtualisation IE 6 problem

Hello,
I work on a NS 6.5
I have virtualized Internet explorer 6 (for the professional application ) and on the clients computers there are Internet explorer 8
I think there is a comflict because IE 6 virtual not run .
are there a solution for do cohousing ?

Can you explain exactly what scenario won't work? Are you saying that you cannot launch IE8 and IE6 at the same time manually or that you're trying to use NS to do something and that's not working?

I would like used IE8 in the clients computer and put at disposition IE6 for the client. I would like use software Virtualization but when i want run IE6 (in virtual),i have a error 1042 (i read which this is a probleme with no solution)
I use altiris 6.1 and software virtualization 2.1
1042 is wrong layer version. the problem you've got is that 2.1 does not support your IE6 layer, you'll need to upgrade to 6.1 SP1 at the very minimum for it to work.

I haven't do the update of software virtualization, my version is 6.1.1034
