Earlier versions of SEP 11 used to take lot of disk space. there are few settings which you can set to minimize the disk space. If properly configured you dont have to move the SEPM to a different drive
\1) Delete the unused defs from
C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Protection manager\Inetpub\content
Delete all the contents Inside the Alpahnumeric folder ( not the alphanumeric folder)
2) Change the number of content revison to keep as 4 under liveupdate tab, here are the steps
- Log on to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
- Click on Admin > Servers > Local Site and under Tasks, click Edit Site Properties.
- Click the LiveUpdate tab.
- Under Disk Space Management for Downloads, adjust the number of content revisions to keep.
- Click OK.
