This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

When running a report on Virus Definition Distribtution in SEP it never shows which hosts has which version of definitions loaded on. All the report shows is the definition date and how many hosts have those definitions loaded, this means I don't know which hosts to go and troubleshoot potential issues on because they are not getting the most up to date definition file loaded on.

Is there any way to alter the report or change a setting somewhere to see which actual hosts has which definition files loaded on?

Cheers,

Hanré

Yes.  The procedure is described here:

http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/3c677257ee173f87882574400052c916?OpenDocument

It would be more logical (imho) to have a pre-built report for this, but the functionality is there...

Yes that's what I was after but I would have liked it to be more automated, ie - have the report e-mailed everyday. The reporting tool in SEP is very poorly built.

Thanks,

Hanré

Poor.  That's debatable.  I would say I would rather have them work on the core of the system rather than reporting, but I know what you mean.
