Virus Definition updates still being retrieved from Internet instead of Parent Server

Even though I have disable LiveUpdate and enabled VDTM the clients all seem to still retrieve the VirusDefs from liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com instead of the parent server. I have followed the Symantec instuctions to set this up. Any ideas?

LU is default on client regardless
I have configured the same way. Regardless, if I have LU disabled/enabled, the clients still retrieve signatures from the internet rather than the parent server.
According the the symantec guys in the forum, that is normal.

May I ask if you tring to
May I ask if you tring to manually execute the liveupdate button from the SEP client? if so, by default it will get the updates from the internet unless you have configured it on the SEPM and you have a liveupdate administrator.
