  • 1.  Virus definitions and moving the folder?

    Posted Feb 27, 2009 03:31 PM

    hi,

I am running into an issue with 10.17 where I have the program installed on the D: but the definitions are still stored in the common files folders, etc. in the C:

They are taking up a lot of space.. so does anyone know if it's possible to tell it to store the definition files on another drive?

    thanks!

    Hi,

I would say it's impossible unless you move the whole %ProgramFiles% to D:.

    Hi,

Not sure if you mean the Server or client but you can use a VMP as described here: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2008012514384048
