HI all,

One of our users has not been getting virus defintions updates since 5/1/2015.

We run 12.1.5. All client are created from our SEPM

For this particular user we use an unmanaged client as their office is not on our network, so it is using Symantec's servers to update the definitions.

We have tried the following;

• Uninstall and re-install SEP client.
• Cleaned out defintions in Safe Mode as per http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO59193
• It isn't a disk space issue

Any other ideas?

Are you sure this is a 12.1.5 client? That date was the date when SEP 11.x went end of support life so I just want to verify this first.

Aside from that, did you run cleanwipe on the machine?

I would suggest downloading and running the symhelp tool to check for errors:

Sounds good. That was my suspicion when I saw the date :)
