I am trying to get an answer to a report that runs weekly on the SEP-Small Business Edition. It states that I have one infected computer and that Action is required. I can't find out where to go to perform the action. How do I get this fixed? I hate calling customer support and/or technical support because of all the hoops you have to jump through before you can speak to someone.

When you open SEPM, what kind of status do you get from the list of your computers?

the action will be already be listed, the one's pending action/reboot required. the client needs to be restarted.

    Hi,

Have you enabled risk tracer from SEPM console ?

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/source-virus

Will it be possible to export that report or Screen-shot & attach to the same thread ?

You might be aware, however I would like to add this.

It is recommended to install all the Symantec features AV / PTP/ NTP with latest definitions.Always make sure that your computers are receiving definitions regularly.

You can upgrade your product to latest built i.e SEP 12.1 RU1 Or SEP 11.x RU7 MP1

You windows machines should have all the latest windows updates /Patches.

Disable Autorun ( In SEP 12.1 by default it's disabled)

Please follow best practice guide to handle virus issue.

Better to identify the source of infection in you network.
