  • 1.  Virus "TrojanDownloader:Win32/Bredolab.X"

    We're getting emails with the "TrojanDownloader:Win32/Bredolab.X" virus coming through our BMG.  Is there a way to block this?  So far, the only way we've been able to to has been to use a compliance rule to block base on subject.  However, it's not very effective as these message infected with this virus has various subject and from addresses.  These virus are being caught by our internal antivirus software.  Any clues?

    Hello,

    Is this for the Symantec Brightmail Gateway (SBG) ? I would suggest contacting Technical Support. They will be able to verify that the anti-virus module is working correctly. They would also be able to provide you with the customer submission procedure for uploading suspected malware files to have detection added, should that not already be the case.
