    Hi Friends,

I have some strange problem new installed and few of old windows 7 vista machines are not getting updated from SEPM console. Below are the details

OS: Windows Vista and Windows 7

    SEP version: 11.0.6005.562

    GUP:  No

    Console server:  windows 2003

Last check in: October 14, 2010 6:25:47 AM IST

    Virus definition: 2010-03-29 rev. 018

On client system SEP shows exclamation mark.

    Below troubleshooting is already done:

    1. hello, secars, telnet, ping to console server works fine no errors.
    2. Replacing sylink with manual process but no progress
    3. Also try with exporting communication setting from console group and importing to SEP client.
    4. Checked the proxy settings in IE, no proxy are configured. Tried with deleting connection settings registries

I have attached sylink monitoring log for more details of issue.

    Attachment(s)

    txt
    Sylink monitor.txt   85 KB 1 version
    txt
    Sylink debug.txt   78 KB 1 version

    Do you have IE9?

     https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/warning-ie9-beta-causes-sep-client-not-update-virusdefinitions

    if not

ptu the client in diff group and update the policy
