VM Backup Netbackup 7.5

I am planning to implement backup for our VM infrastructure .

Could the good people of the house help with clues of getting this configured on netbackup 7.5 please.

-Backup selection and other details please

yah.. Netbackup for VMware admin guide is a good start..

just an overview

1) check your Netbackup and Vcenter/ESXI compabablities.

2)you need Enterprise client licence

3) you need Backup host ( can be a master, media or client, look in support matrix for compatable OS)

4) you need Vcenter login and passwd, if no Vcenter ESXi login and passwd and those under Netbackup GUI--> credentials.

5) Read Different transport methods 

look which transport method fits for your setup.

6) if you decide to go with SAN , you need to Zone Data store luns to backup host

7) if NBD(lan) Firewall requirements

8) read the bestpractices

9) do the test

10) impliment it.
