vm backups failing

Good morning,
Since last two weeks the backups of our VM's are failing. Every day one or more machines fail to backup. It are not always the same machines, but the problem stays.
Any help would be much appreciated. Attached some screenshots of the errors in the log file.

Stop the VM's from taking their own snapshots.
Where do I configure this?

Check your VM's Snapshot Manager settings to ensure that they are not taking automatic snapshots.
When I check the snapshot manager in Virtual Center I cannot find an option to schedule this. See screenshot.
Although we took some manual snaphots before upgrading some servers. The snapshots still exist. Can this be the cause?
