Need permenant fix for this.

You need to give details of your environment, versions of all software including VMWare and operating systems as well as the version of the virtualisation client.

After all, you would not expect to go to your doctor, tell him you are ill and expect a cure just like that....

Windows server 2008 R2---Master server handling the VM backup
ESX 3.5 and above is the VM datastore version
unix and windows above 2003 is the VM image server OS installed.

Give me a permanenet fix for the snap shot error or timely fix

This forum supports SYMANTEC ENDPOINT VIRTUALISATION.

VMWare support should be available from www.vmware.com

  Note.    Some virtual machines may fail to create snapshot for backup due to their high I/O in this case this should be down before backup.

Down in the sense need to shutdown and take the backup or......????

But we have limited the jobs per policy as 2 and which would be effective as mentioned in the link or that we explained in the policy while backing up the VM servers
