Hi

I try to install Backup Exec 11d, I first run the precheck and it tell me that the vmi check fail. I then followed the link (http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/285328.htm) and ran all the suggested cmd commands. But it doesn't help. The symantec check still get me the same error. What can I do to get rid of the vmi check error?

Regards

This check was to assist in keeping the Microsoft SQL Express installations from failing. If a WMI component is missing (ex. security component), SQL Express will fail to install. If this is Windows 2k, it might be failing the pass inadvertently. In the check, it states that the install MAY fail.
