Hi all,
I have a question about Netbackup and VMware
In the Netbackup admin said that is a must that the "backup host" were a Windows 2003 o windows 2008 to work, but then in the Netbackup appliance info mention that the backup host could be the same appliance, so now I was wondering if this is true or we still need the backup host to be a windows box?
If the appliance could be the "backup host" why a normal master/media server on unix or linux couldn't?
I just want to have a clear view of the recuirement for a VMware protection architecture using a Netbackup appliance and a normal master/media server on unix/linux
Thanks for any comment
