  • 1.  VMWare ESXi client with SEE installed won't boot

After installing SEE Full Disk Encryption on a VMWare ESXi 3.5 client (running XP SP3), I get the following during boot: "An unsupported storage controller has been detected"
After clicking "Ok", it reboots and goes through the process again. Is there a way to demo this without using physical machines?

ESX uses SCSI for HD controllers. SCSI is not supported. If you want to demo on a virtual machine use a virtualization solution that allows the use of non-SCSI drives.

Choose IDE and not SATA. This should help

There is no IDE or SATA choice for ESXi, only SCSI.
