Hello All.

I am in confusion that what is the connectivity flow in netbackup 6.5, 7.1 and 7.5.

Is it compulsory that there must be a connectivity with vnetd.. , what is the function of vnetd.

Please share your useful thoughts.. :)

From 7.0.1 it will try to connect via PBX only if it fails then it will try to connect to vnetd if communication through PBX fails.

VNETD is nothing but port that needs to be open to get communicated. Please read this article which explains it in better way.
