This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

I want VOM to be configured to use LDAP authentication. I have build a Openldap server running on redhat linux.

I have been trying to configure authentication broker option in the VOM to communicate with the Openldap server, but am not able to do it.

I want to have 3 seperate logins defined for the VOM usage , one the root to administer entire domain, one operatot and last one the guest with only read only access.

As am new to LDAP configuration, please can any one share the user/group ldif file to use for the ldap server.

Hi Rajeev,

I will refer you to openldap documenrtation and below link which will give you step by step infomration on how to create ldap entries in openldap server. once you have configured the directory manager and sample user/groups then you can use the below tech notes by symantec for instructions to configure VOM to use your newly configured openldap server.
