Vontu Reports
Updated: 03 Jun 2010 | 3 comments
I am running Vontu reports and I am having a problem when trying to export the report. When you have multiple pages of incidents to export to excel even if you select "Select All", it does not work. How can I export the entire report.
Thanks, Monica

Monica_136, 1) What version
Monica_136,
1) What version of Vontu are you running?
As you mentioned, you should be able to "Select All", see the popup stating that all incidents meeting the filter conditions are selected, and then export using the dropdown on incident actions button. When you try these steps you should see a popup informing you that "this operation will affect x incidents..." where x is the total number of incidents selected.
2) Are you seeing the correct number of incidents (not matches) in the "operation will affect x incidents" message?

Symantec DLP extended reports.
Hello Monica,
You will need to click "Show All" instead of select all, then choose Report > Export Page, which should save the export as vontu_incident_list.csv.
Thank You

I agree with Monica - it
I agree with Monica - it doesn't work. When you trying to export larger report, with multiple conditions and double-grouping and select "view all", the system is clocking forever and will eventually time out. Exporting reports only works for small data sets with few conditions.
