Hi,

Our master server run on windows 2008R2 and our's medias servers too.

I enabled the logging level to 4, but no interesting logs.

Netbackup client services is running with domain admins account.

Nfs client is installed

PS : I want to be able to do granular recovery for AD.

But for now i've disable it to be sure that VSS is working before.

When I type vssadmin list writers after launch a manual backup :

Hi, thanks for reply. The problem is when I repair the VSS WMI Writer and relaunch a backup, then he failed again...

Will Restore's picture

OK, that is Windows problem so you'll have to ask on Windows Forum.

It's not a windows problem :D It's seems that my account was in a domains_admins_groups that was nested to the REAL domain admins groups.

Puting the user in the REAL domain admins groups and now it's working.

But granular still not working.

And I encounter slow backup so I will try to debug it as it's writter here : http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH17541

If you have new idea, then I'am open.

Regards,

Jon

Do you have latest VSS hotfix installed on W2003 server?

I believe this is one of the newest VSS hotfixes : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940349

You may want to check MS support site to see if there is anything newer.
