HI!

Korea Symantec partner, I have been working on  Majortech Corp(http://www.majortech.co.kr).

The SF6.0 about the new features and to Self-study, the following information is requested.

-. Requests: VxFS file system disk layout-related architecture description

    1. Version 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 for the detailed documentation (except the Admin Guide)

    2. Version 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the concept (graphical depiction).

Thanks!

I have never seen a graphical depiction...

A couple of docs on SORT (probably the same as in Admin Guides?):

Version 9: https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/6....

Version 8: https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/5....

Version 7: https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/5....

Version 6: https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/5....

About disk layouts: https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/6....

If I may ask - why do feel that information in the Admin Guide is not enough?

Thank you kind description!!

But, Looking at the following URL for VxFS disk layout version 4 is the image description.(VxFS 5.0 Administrator Guide)

https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sf/5.0/solaris/html/fs_admin/ag_ap_layout_fscm_t.htm

And, Version 4 for a more detailed explanation of each element can also be seen.

However, Version 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 simply Explain features, and principles for the internal workings have not been able to find detailed information and images.

The features of each version of the Layout is enough to understand. The principle of operation is necessary for the internal part.

Thanks!
