vxmon.exe uses 25% CPU of x64 Windows 2003 server
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 2 comments
Hello Everybody,
we have been using backupExec 9.1 for a while and are now testing the new 11d.
We use it to backup our first Windows 2003 X64 Server.
For this reason we installed the agent on this x64 host. (We did a Live Update on our backupExe server - so we suppose that the agent is the latest version available ...)
We now had to realize that on this machine there is a constant CPU use of 25% by the process vxmon.exe.
The 25% are used also when there is no backup taking place at the moment.
We have to solve this problem soon ... bevor we go productiv with our new x64 servers.
Any Ideas?

Does this issue happen when you click the "Cancel" button on the "Publishing" tab in vxmon?
