Hi

we trying to deploy image but stuck on below screen

Agent

Almost appears that the agent isn't running although I can't be certain as I am not currently running 7.x yet in our automation environment.  If you restore the command prompt, are there any errors or messages that might tip you off as to what is going on?

Yeah like Brian stated restore the command prompt then check for two things

1. in the command prompt type "taskmgr"  task manager should come up, Processes tab check if the PECTAgent.exe is running. If not u might have a DNS issue.

2. if PECTAgent is running then check the logs x:\program files\altiris\altiris agent\logs there should be to log files agent.log and pectagent.log check the logs. check for errors.  Any tasks in automation create a log file at this location too so check for errors.

Agree

I agree.  Use the command prompt to troubleshoot.  Right now it looks like you booted to automation, it didn't work, so you screenshotted it to Connect.  You're a frequent poster, so you must know that we're here to assist you when you get stuck.  What have you tried so far?

This issue

I am currently experiencing the same issue, i can reboot to automation, I can send teh command to reboot to production, but the PECTagent never starts when choosing deploy image. In the post you guys mention DNS issues, but what can I do to check for possible DNS issues? I dont see any errors in the logs in the agent logs location mentioned so I am at wits end here.

Any Help would be much appreciated.
