Hi

I am new to VCS . I want to get more details about EnableVMAutoDiscovery and ClusterLocation cluster attributes. To understand how and when to use them. Could you please help me.

I think ClusterLocation is an information attribute and this MAY be used by VOM to show you where cluster is located or allow you to run reports using this attribute.

EnableVMAutoDiscovery is used by ApplicationHA - see extract from ApplicationHA users guide for step 3 of "Configured guest domain appears to be disconnected"

 

Verify that the VCS cluster level attribute EnableVMAutoDiscovery is set to 1.

So I don't think this attribute is applicable for normal VCS
