We are trying to install SEP 12.1 via Altiris deployment solution and it says OK in Altiris but when you look at the clients it still has SEP 11.x installed and you can also see in the SEP reports in Altiris that it still has version 11.x.

created new sep package by customer tested on client manualy working
recreated sep package tried to deploy on client through Altiris.

Inventory update has been done succefully but from where we can fetch these details. is there any file location
The inventory is stored in the database, use Resource Explorer to examine Inventory for an individual PC.
Check the Inventory Task has Anti Virus selected.

Starting in 12.1 the SEP installer does a side by side installation. When you installed 12.1 on machine running version 11 you'll see the install finish, and you'll see all of the version 12.1 files in Program Files. Your machine will continue running the version 11 client until you reboot.
This applies to all 12.1 RU and MP releases as well. The old versions persist and are fully functional until you reboot, at which point the new version takes over.
