Web Console displaying errors after upgrade to SEP 11.07 MP3

After upgrading the SEPM 11.06 to SEP 11.07 and then to MP3, one of our customers is experiencing displaying errors in the SEPM web console. These problems exist in IE8, IE9 and Firefox 13 I attached some screenshots.

Here you can see the view in web console, with missing scroll bars and text overlapping the buttons.

I think the problem is only with Firefox. IE should not have any issues.

  • The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager web console is not supported in Mozilla Firefox.
  • Compatibility view must be enabled on Internet Explorer 8 and 9 for the web console to properly work.

Hello,

It is adviced to delete the previous Java webconsole from the client machine along with the desktop shortcut (if any) and Relaunch the SEPM webconsole via the browser by 

           http://<computer_name>:9090
           http://<computer_IP_address>:9090 

(9090 is the default port, which you can change in the \tomcat\conf\server.xml file)

Unfortunately the re-installation of Java over http://sepmanager:9090 didn't fix the displaying errors in the webconsole. The java remote console is working fine though. The problem exists in any browser with any settings (compatibility view).

I'm sorry, but upgrading to SEP 12.1.2 is currently not an otion for the customer.
