  • 1.  Web console not working, missing activeX components.

    Hello,

    I suddenly lost the ability to use Notification Server web console, with following message:
    "Altiris Console Minimum Requirements

    You have been redirected to this page because you are using an incompatible browser. The Console requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 or later. "

    I checked the settings and enviroment, and I found that the ActiveX components were missing from the addons(they were in the C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files- folder).

    How can I restore them manually, because deleting them didn't help ?

    just to confirm, you are using IE6 or 7 right? Try this: https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=3871&p=1

    Allready tryied that one, and it didn't solve my problem.

    You don't have settings in IE that are restricting active-x in any way do you?
