Virtual Secure Web Gateway

The Symantec Web Gateway 5.0 Beta release will be available on Friday, September 10, for testing at https://symbeta.symantec.com/callout/default.html?callid=87898A4F0E82409CBA954462D38785C3

This Beta test version provides a preview of the following features:

• Symantec Insight Reputation Engine
• Symantec DLP Integration (via ICAP)
• Virtual Edition for VMware
• Support for HTTP, FTP, SSL, and SOCKS proxy
• NTLM Proxy Authentication

  
In order to be considered for this program you will need to log on to our Symbeta site and either request access with an existing account or create a new account. 

Participants in the program will receive pre-released Symantec software and provide feedback to Symantec. Participants are expected to remain active throughout a project lifecycle and communicate issues to Symantec team members

So how many people are running the beta now?  Anyone using the Reputation-Based Security settings?  Just would like to know how things are going for others.

 

Also, dumb question, what is Symantec DLP Integration?

 

I read that somewhere that it can now read SSL packets in the new software?  Can't find where that setting is.
