  • 1.  Web Messenger set default for Delivery Options

    I am using Universal Server 3.2.0 MP2.

    Is it possible to set a default for the delivery options for new external users?

    Background is, that now the default is "PGP Universal Web Messenger". I will set as default "Regular Email".

    You would set a Mail policy i n the Inbound chaing, at top of the rest saying something like:

    If External user recipiend delivery preference is : Web messenger / Smart trailer / Desktop / PDF messenger

    then the action is: Send via web messenger

    Yes, go to consumers, policy, select default policy (in which new external users belong as default),  Edit Web Messenger settings.

    These are delivery options to choose:

     Delivery Options  
     
     The selected delivery types will be available to external users on the Web Messenger Options screen.
     PGP Universal Web Messenger
      Provide users with the option to save sent messages on the server
      Enable the "save sent messages" option by default
     
     
     PGP Universal Satellite
     PGP Desktop or S/MIME
     PDF Messenger
     Regular Email
     

     

    You can change behaviour if you create a new rule in the email policy chain "inbound"
