This issue has been solved. See solution.

I want to integrate web server OS with SSIM.

For that i have configured all the settings but after that when i have started sensor web service of that server was not recognised properly.

Afterword we have stoped sensor.

The server is critical so it needs to integrate with SSIM please suggest.

OS: win 2k8 R2

Please let us know the SSIM version and the name of the collector you are using t integrate the OS of the web server.

Hi Shahnawaz K,

We are using SSIM 4.7.3.50 and Microsoft_Vista_and_Win_2008_Svr_v4.4.11_MSVista_MSWIN2k8 to integrate the OS of the web server.

What you may find is that WinRM operates over port 443, and this may get in the way of Web Server operation on port 80/443. Refer to the documents above to change default ports used by WinRM and the collector.

Dear Tush_B,

To integrate windows server with OFFBOX scheme we need to configure winrm service and one user must be added in groups like event Log reader etc.

For this communication we can use network protocol http or https with default ports.
Some time defaultport no might be used for other application on target servers.
In this situation we need to use alternate port so that we can comout from this.

Hear you have already listed that server is web server so 80 / 8080 / 8888 port must be used for web application.
For this server you can use http protocol with 8090 port if not used by web app.

also you can use alternate port number for http or https communication from below link.
