web services for remote management runClientCommandScan

Created: 30 Oct 2013 • Updated: 02 Dec 2013 | 1 comment

Hi,

I am able to run powershell on my SEPM using ClientServiceTest.ps1 from the sample scripts in the web services SDK CD2. Basically the script works well and the scan command is sent to a sigle machine when added to the config.xml file.

I need to know the format of adding multiple machines to the config.xml file? Is there a seperator or a break that needs to be used?

According to the API the method being called is runClientCommandScan which takes a computeList type string. But there is no information on how the list should be formated in the config.xml file.

command.CommandService.runClientCommandScan ( @WebParam(name="computerGUIDList") String[]  computerGUIDList,
    @WebParam(name="scanType") String  scanType
  )   throws InsufficientAccessServiceException, InvalidArgumentServiceException, ServiceException

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
