    Hello,

    What browser are you using?

Does the same issue occurs when you install a Different Browser and try brosing websites?

    1) Disable all BHO's from IE

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298931

    2) Could you check if the host file was modified?

host file could be found under:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Open the host file in notepad.

Check if you see rogue enteries.

If yes, either you can delete the same OR replace the old one with new one from another good machine.

    3) You could also, try working on

Using Symantec Support Tool, how do we Collect the Suspicious Files and Submit the same to Symantec Security Response Team.

    4) You could also Try Logging in as a Different User and check if you are facing same issue or not?
If not, you could try deleting the Infected User Profile (Ofcourse, Please take a back up of all necessary files before you delete the Profile)

Good advice above, but if that doesn't work, if you're a home user, one thing I would verify is that the DNS settings on your router haven't been changed from the designated settings from your ISP. I experienced a redirect issue on my home system several months ago; since it's a Mac, and to the best of my knowledge there aren't any such redirector threats affecting Macs, I found it highly unusual. A check of the router settings indicated the DNS settings had been changed & were redirecting my traffic through a DNS server in Europe somewhere. I am not in Europe. smiley Once I restored the correct settings, the problem stopped.
