Ghost Solution Suite

Sometimes, if I start a task to ghost a machine, five mins later I'll find the computer stuck in dos mode talking to server ( you know, the sending to and acknowledged messages).  I start the same task again and it'll finish with no problem what so ever.....I never have this problem before but this is happening quite often recently.  Does that have to do with package drop during the process of ghosting???

What do you see in the Console task log?

One possibility is a clone task failing. If a restore operation fails, even at initial stage, it would not try to boot back to Windows since it is not guaranteed to have a bootable system.

The same thing can happen if any other task steps are failed, something like configurations. What steps do you have in these tasks?

I have clone and configuration box checked in my task, nothing more.

nothing logged, both "Event Details" and "Error file" options are grey out......
