This issue has been solved. See solution.

We have always done full backups, but one can only store so many big files.
We want to set up and save 4-5 weeks of:
Sunday night full backup
Mon-Sat evenings -- incrementals
Repeat this process (save 4 or 5 weeks' backups).

Where I'm unclear is which days to check.
I checked Sunday, but not the remaining days, and I see that no Monday night backup occurred.
Should I check all the days of the week to make this kind of backup happen??

I looked in the documentation and did not find anything....

Thank you, Tom

You need to use the option

You need to use the option 'Limit the number of recovery point sets saved for this backup' - the default is 3 but you can set it to 4 or 5 depending on your requirements.

As far as the schedule is concerned..yes, you need to tick each day you want a backup to run on. You can then use the 'Start a new recovery point set (base)' option to tell it when to create a new base (full backup) - you can also use the custom option which allows you to tailor it to your needs.

Hope that all makes sense.

Thank you, I ticked all the weekdays and told it to start a new base every Sunday.
I just now started the backup and will observe...it is now making its iv2i...excellent. :)
I knew about the 'Limit...' option, I have not before used incremental backups though...
Thank you, Tom
