    System requirements for the Symantec Endpoint Protection client software

    32-Bit:

    The following operating systems are supported:

    • Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.7
    • Window 2000 Professional/Server/Advanced Server/Datacenter Server with Service Pack 3 or later
    • Windows XP Home/XP Professional/XP Embedded with Service Pack 1 or later

    Note: Windows XP supports a limited number of concurrent users if the clients are in "push" mode. Use "pull" mode on Windows XP servers for up to 100 clients. For more information, search for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 11.x communication troubleshooting on the Symantec Support Web site.

    • Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition/Enterprise Edition/Datacenter Edition/Storage Edition/Web Edition

    Hi te14270,

    In case you meant smething completely different than system requirements: the SEP 11 SEPM can manage SEP 11 clients.  It cannot manage SEP 12.1 clients.

    When time allows, please do update this thread with news of whether or not your question has been answered! &: )

    SEPM 11 supports only SEP 11 clients but SEPM 12 supports SEP 12 and 11 clients.
