  • 1.  What is the latest version of SEP

    We are currently at version 12.1.4013.4013 - is there an upgrade that just came out?  My ISO keeps telling me there is an upgrade and I didn't get notified of a new release.

    SEP 12.1 RU4 MP1a

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4.1a is now available

    SEPs number format is very confusing

     

    We are at 12.1.4013.4013

    SEPMs should be at 12.1.4013.4080??

    is 12.1.4.1a older than 12.1.4013.4013??  I'm just going by numerically.  is 12.1.4.1a only for the SEPMs or for all clients??

    You're currently on 12.1 RU4.

    Latest should be this:

    SEPM: 12.1.4104.4130 (12.1 RU4 MP1a)

    SEP client: 12.1.4100.4126 (12.1 RU4 MP1)

    The SEPM is on RU4 MP1a because it fixes the heartbleed bug. Clients were not affected so they remain on RU4 MP1.

    Latest version is SEPM 12.1 RU4 MP1A.

    It fixed OpenSSL “Heart Bleed” vulnerability
