Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

All,

In our inventory we are seeing Dell models listed as CBX3 with no other details.  Google didnt bring back much on this other than drivers.  Does anyone know what model CBX3 equates to?  As always thanks.

We've got a few thousand Dells and don't have any models with that model number, so maybe it's a BIOS that hasn't been blown properly. This might happen if you get eval equipment from Dell in advance of product release. Is other inventory data coming in fine from it?

Try seeing if this odd model comes up from this SQL Query.

select distinct model from vHWComputerSystem

If it does, try tracing the machine by it's user in resource manager. Then you can call up the user (yeah not ideal) and then get the machine looked at...

i have 122 users reporting this model.  i ran the query and it was the fist model coming up.  I will do some research and if i find anything i will post.
