Reduce content revisions and lower the number of logs being kept. You can also run db maintenance

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

    Refer this article:

Disk Space Management procedures for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH96214

Changing the log settings to reduce the size of the database.

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH105238

By reducing content revision and log settings you can save the disk space but content revision setting depends upon number of client and log settings are kept for the audit. So keep these points in mind before making any changes.

    1) Reduce the number of content revision to no 3. Default is 30

    2) Remove all previous packages like version 12.1.1 or .2.. from the packages section

It will slow as the DB will be doing the clean up activity.

You need to select the Localhost under the Local site. Then you will get the log settings options.

What mithun wrote was for 11.x I suppose.

Sorry, but I am lost here.

Do you have a CURRENT write up, this is not at all consistent with what I am seeing.
