  • 1.  What tables hold the Auditing of items?

    Posted Sep 25, 2012 10:20 AM

ok so since we are now going to 7.1 we also fall into the new company auditing structure. I was asked to lookin to what can be audited..

They want to know what has changed, created, deleted, modified.. anything that can be done in the console..
An example of that would be the Purge Now .. if anyone clicks it.. or changes it from retired to deleted...

is this tracked anywhere? optional to turn on? even if it does but only retains a week or 2.. we can setup a job to go in and export it out to a different table to keep...

    looking for input.. thanks all

well my Symantec rep stated the following...

. You probably could use Monitor Solution (a license for SMS would be required...) to monitor log-files and create a reportable event in the DB every time we find a purging event in the log-file.

can you guys think of a way aside from needing the SMS license?
