Hi All,

Could you please let me know waht is Symantec Threat  Reporter and what kind of reports we can create with it.
If possible, please provide Installation, best prctices, etc., documents and sample reports for my understanding.

Thanks you for the reply.
But I am not asking about Screensaver and Analytics tools. My requirement is Threat Reporter which can can collect data from multiple SEPM servers and provides consolidated data.

Now that is something I have not heard of in quite a while.  &: )

Functionality now built into the SEPM has replaced what the Threat Reporter did, many years ago.  Threat Reporter was designed to provide an easy-to-use and current graphical presentation of the actual virus infections detected by Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (SAV CE), Symantec Client Security (SCS, including firewall events) and other security products.

Threat Reporter was never an official Symantec product. To quote from an old connect thread, "Threat Reporter is a consulting written reporting tool.  It is not free, but delivered as part of a paid for consulting engagement.  If you want to use it then you should contact your local Symantec representative and ask about consulting services to install Threat Reporter."

This tool is no longer around. SEPM should be able to show you what you need.

Thank you very much for the detailed information.
Unfortunately one of our client is still using Threat Reporter and wants to continue the same as he has platinum support.
I will be managing mutiple SEPM servers(without Replication), Threat Reporter.
Hence could you help me in videos and documents related to Threat Reporter.

It's a consultant based product, you need to contact the consultant who installed it for you.

I'm afraid that it is unsupported by Symantec.  There are no documents or videos that I can direct you to.

The best advice is to contact the consultant who put this place for continued support.

It seems it might be supported for Platinum customers through consultants only.

In my previous organization, they used to use the Threat Reporter Software for mutiple SEPM servers and their reporting purposes.

Threat Reporter is no more in service and is an unsupported Tool.

I assisted them to migrate the same to Symantec IT Analytics for SEP, which provides similar rather better features.
