What version of the IDR can I use to run it in a Backup exec 9.1 version?

Hi, I have Backup Exec 9.1 (4691) installed in a Windows Server 2003 and I would like to install the option IDR.
It seems that it only works with Backup Exec 10.d.
My question is if there is any solution to install this useful tool in my current Backup Exec version. What version of the IDR I need to install it?

Thanks in advance,
Eduardo

Hello,

Please note that IDR can be used with BE v9.1 also.

Please refer the BE admin guide for more information:

Hi Eduardo,

In order to install IDR under BE9.1, you will need a license key for the version 9.1 IDR option. Since you can't buy these any more, eBay appears your likely port of call for a Veritas 9.1 IDR option.

Really though, the mistake you make here is referring to it as "useful".
