    i need to upgrade symantec 12.0.1001.95 to the edition which can support Window 8 client.

    Windows 8 is supported from 12.1 RU2 onwards (so all version starting from 12.1.2015.2015) - same applies to Windows Server 2012:

    Sebastin is right 12.1 RU2 supports windows 8

    Upgrade your manager as per instructions sent by Sebastin.

    Hello,

    As suggested above - you may need to Migrate to the Latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2015 and above for Windows 8.

    Currently Latest version is Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.3001

    In your case, you can keep the same license and migrate from Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.0 Small Business Edition to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.x Small Business Edition.

    Hi,

     

    If you are goin to only install 12.1.3 on windows 8 thats good but if your going to install it or upgrade your windows xp to 12.1.3 i would suggest you to only be in12.1.2 and wait till 12.1.4 is released.
