  • 1.  What will happen if I cancel an SEPM Repair?

    Posted May 12, 2015 05:07 AM

    Hey guys,

I'm currenty doing an SEPM repair, but I need to use another account for the repair to because of sql authentication issues, now I'm already on the Management Server Configuration Wizard, Can I cancel this and just repeat the process using the right account? Will it make problem by doing that?

    Thanks,

May be there is no issue you can cancel the process and run another account.

Just wait, lets it error out ( if its not able to authenticate to SQL).. you can use the other account later.

    Thanks guys,

I'd just cancelled it and redid the repair, it's now working.

I'd still use caution in doing this. Depending on how far you get into the process it may not come back...

I'll keep that in mind Brian, also I stopped in the part where I was supposed to input the SQL Authentication.
