This issue has been solved. See solution.

Can anyone tell me where to find the time the full scheduled scan completed?

We are troubleshooting an issue with a Symantec services running st 50% on Monday so I would like to know when this finished.

Tech18765 article states in Fix ID 2628146 "SEPM will list the scan duration as the entire time between scan start and scan complete, including the time the scan was suspended."

Please let me know where to find this.

hi,

Check this atical.

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH162202

Be aware of the scan options that affect scan performance and scheduling, and configure your scans accordingly:

  • By default, scheduled scan peformance options (in Scan Options, Advanced) are set to "Best Application Peformance".  When you configure a scan with this setting, scans will start but they only run when the client computer is idle. You can change this for faster scan performance,  but user applications may run slower while the scan runs.

  • In Scan Schedule options, you may choose "Scan for up to N hours". If the scan has not completed by that time, it will resume at the next scheduled time or at a randomized time within that interval. The default scheduled scan that comes with Symantec Endpoint Protection is set to scan up to 2 hours and to resume at a random point in that time. Choose "Scan until finished" to run the scan without interruption.

  • "Missed Scheduled Scans", also under Scan Schedule options, may start a scan at an unexpected time. This option will retry a scan within the specified interval if the computer is off or unable to start the scan at the specified time. Uncheck this box to start the scan only at the scheduled time

You can find it in the Scan log on the client

In the SEPM, go to Monitors >> Logs and set the log to show Scan

You can filter as needed to show exactly  what you need.

Hello,

As Brian referred, you can find it under Monitor/Logs/Scan.

And also if you click one scan and choose details from above, you can also see how many files are trusted and skipped, this is also important for scan performances if you're using version 12.1x

Oykun

However, be aware that if the scan was interrupted it may not show accurately in the logs.

Wow, what an amazing set of answers! Clearly everyone is correct but oykunsatis was the most on target what I was looking for but the only problem I had was that it was not showing scans in progress so I had to show all scans for the last week to get everything.

Symantec support pointed out this article that will really come in handy: Adjusting scans to improve computer performance  http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO55250

My thanks to everyone!
