When doing a Repair on the SEP client.....

Why does it double the install size.
An initial install is around 450MB, give or take a few MBs. When I do a repair, it doubles, up to around 900MB.
Is this intended?

Once again if you repair whether the size will increase further?Any new folder is getting created under Symantec\Cached installs?
Which is the OS?

I think of you could suppress
I think of you could suppress the Old definitions installed with your sources.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs
And the cache:
C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\ContentCache
OS is Server 2008 R2 Standard
OS is Server 2008 R2 Standard x64
I did not try a second repair as the first repair fixed my issue. I do no have a cached install folder?

If AI am not wrong Cashed
If I Am am not wrong Cashed install will be present under C:\ProgramData\Symantec.

I repaired my SEP client, and it DID NOT do this...the size was 450 MB, befroe, and after repair.
