Why does it double the install size.

An initial install is around 450MB, give or take a few MBs. When I do a repair, it doubles, up to around 900MB.

Is this intended?

I think of you could suppress

I think of you could suppress the Old definitions installed with your sources.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs

And the cache:

C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\ContentCache
