when i am installing my setup created from Wise Packaging software i am getting an error which is Error 1335 : the cabinet file 'cabs.w1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate an network erroe, an error reading from the CD-ROM or a problem with this package ,,,pls replay me

What exactly did you create

What exactly did you create with Wise?

Did you create a MST? I am not sure, but sounds like there is a vendor MSI with an external cab file.

Anyway, did you copy the source files from the CD or any other location?

My experience is that usually it is what the message states: corrupted cab file and I solve it by copying it over again. Sometimes you need to ask for the actual CD.

Does it work when you don't use your 'created setup', but just run the setup.exe?

 A naming like this often means that the w1.cab is stored in the cabs table as a binary.

If you look in the Media table (in the .MSI file), what is the value of the Cabinet column?
