When i log in to Media Server , it was just showing Backup and Restore ,not Media Management?

hello guys

I am using netbackup 7.1,when I am login to my media server ,it was just showing Backup and Restore Panel, not showing activity or MEDIA Management tab, i am using red hat linux server ,i restarted the services still showing the same

hi tech

i was also go through this , but i thoroughly checked that i have not login with the root user id ,the id which is used for logging the Operating system

so check if you are giving the user id  as root

Can we assume that you are using the Java console?

Which user name are you using to login?

Have a look at /usr/openv/java/auth.conf.

The default entries are:

root ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL
* ADMIN=JBP JBP=ENDUSER+BU+ARC

which means that only root have admin right. All other users will only have Backup Archive and Restore.

my self using root as admin

thanks for information 

i have gone through /usr/openv/java/auth.conf.

mine is same , root have admin rights and all others are Backup,Archive and Restore

i am not using java console,

i was logging with user id oracle

and when i log in with root , all activity monitor and media management is displaying

marriane, i also check auth.conf

it was showing admin as root

and other users as backup and restore
