We use Ghost Solution suite 2.5 and have been waiting for Windows 7 driver support for years now. Is there any updates being released soon we are in desperate need for a better product functionality with Windows 7 & 8.

There are updates available to those with maintenance agreements - see the posts by David Evans in the very long thread entitled "When will come new version of Ghost".  This includes a new boot disk environment using a current version of WinPE.

If you don't have maintenance then you can also update your existing Ghost environment yourself using the details in this old posting: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/creating-and-using-winpe31-image-gss-251.  Terry Bu has also written another article to follow on from this but I can't find the link at the moment.

There are other articles regarding UEFI and Windows 8 which you may want to hunt up, but essentially the next version of Ghost is coming along and should solve all your issues at a stroke.

If you have maintanance you can request the new boot disk creator that is based off of the windows pe 4 (windows 8) environment.

    Contact support and mention tech223404

Plan to take some time with the new boot disk creator it is slow to build and slow to add drivers.

Attached to that kb is the steps to create the new boot disk.  Also I tried to put a short video together with the steps in case that would be useful to any one.

You will likely need to add drivers for that NIC  see the following document and video
